To PEEL or NOT To PEEL

Skin peeling is a hot topic nowadays.

There are countless products to choose from when it comes to restoring your face's natural healthy glow. Most products and procedures are quite expensive. Some will require several sessions of skin treatment and a number of products to apply for maintenance. Some will only require a one-time treatment and only a few products to apply for maintenance. One is not necessarily more effective than the other. But they do come in different price tags. So choose well! Spending more or spending less to achieve the same result is entirely up to you. Spend wisely!

To understand whether to PEEL or NOT to PEEL, it helps to understand the structure of the skin. The skin consists of three basic layers: the outer layer (epidermis), the middle layer (dermis) and the inner layer (hypodermis). Each of these layers provides a particular function and is in a continuous state of change. Exposure to the sun, quality of diet, lifestyle and environmental factors negatively impact the outer layer of the skin.

Skin peeling exfoliate and rejuvenate the face. A chemical solution is applied to the skin which causes the top layer of the skin to peel off. The new skin revealed after the facial peel is smoother and less wrinkled. Facial blemishes and signs of premature aging will no longer be visible after a skin peeling treatment.

There is a huge range of products available out there, and more aggressive treatments are available at specialist clinics. You should consult a therapist who has been suitably trained in the application of skin peels for advice on the most appropriate treatment for your skin, and the results you are hoping to achieve. Make sure you discuss with your therapist exactly what you can expect after the treatment, and how long it will take for your skin to recover from the peel.

To Peel or NOT To PEEL?? That is a question only you can answer.

  4. Hi! You will have to use our skin maintenance products and stop using Obagi to make sure that the effect of each product on your skin will build upon each other and will not conflict in any way. Once you use up the products which come with our skin peeling treatment package, you can buy them at these prices: night cream (Php 230), sunblock cream (Php 200), astringent (Php 200), soap (Php 150). These are the current product prices.
